Ro’chelle Williams

Dr. Ro’chelle Williams is a political strategist and education policy professional with nearly a decade of experience in national politics, education, and the labor movement. He currently works at the National Education Association in the office of the Executive Director, where he lives the organization’s public affairs agenda.

Ro’chelle received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Tougaloo College (2014), a Master of Science degree in higher education administration from Southern New Hampshire University (2017), and a Doctorate of Education (2023) from Maryville University.

Since graduating from Tougaloo College, he has continued to provide unwavering support to his alma mater by being an active Life Member of the Tougaloo College National Alumni Association (TNCAA) and a member of the local area alumni chapter, Washington Area Tougaloo Alumni Chapter (WATAC), where he serves at the chapter President. Additionally, he is currently on the TCNAA Executive Committee as the National Secretary and on the Board of Directors.

Ro’chelle has served in several leadership positions throughout TCNAA. From 2018 to 2021, he served as the Northeast Regional Representative and Secretary on the Board of Directors. From 2019 to 2021, he served as the Hall of Fame Committee Chair under President David E. Miller. He currently serves as the Co-Chair of the TCNAA 2024 National Conference.

In 2016, he was inducted into Tougaloo College’s 40 Under 40 Inaugural Class, and in 2020, he was honored as the College’s Young Alumnus of the Year. He currently resides in Washington, D.C.
